Inconsequential Dilemma

The surviving traces of the evening storm streaks across the sky.  Thunder rumbles in the distance as the weakened remnants softly weep at being left behind.

Do I go face the elements or miss the moment tucked safely in the confines of home.  It is such an inconsequential dilemma that I barely pause to ponder it.

A faded rainbow and the evening sky accent the painted brilliance.  They send colors that beg to be savored amongst the heavier contrasting clouds.

Together in the rain, my camera, GOD and I, we captured the moment. This. This is my respite. A quiet reprieve from the busyness of autism.  Moments like this are gifts sent to revive my weary heart.
